Hugh Tyrrell is director of GreenEdge, a communications and marketing consultancy
specialising in sustainability, behaviour change and green business. His experience includes
marketing and advertising, consulting to corporates and SMEs, editing and publishing national
environmental magazines and convening environmental journalism conferences. He has a degree in
sociology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Cormac Cullinan heads environmental and sustainability law practice Cullinan &
Associates, which advises on institutional, policy and regulatory reform. A director of
EnAct International, an honorary research associate of the University of Cape Town, and
member of the IUCN Environmental Law Commission, Cullinan holds a master’s degree in environmental
law from the University of London.

Alex Hetherington, sustainability consultant to WWF-SA clients, specialises
in corporate strategy development and implementation. Founder of Hetherington Media,
he holds a master’s degree in environmental management from University of London.

Sarah Kvalsvig, an attorney and a director of Cullinan & Associates, advises on
environmental legal compliance across a range of commercial sectors including waste, petroleum,
forestry, and minerals. She is a member of the Environmental Law Association and a director of EnAct
International. She has a masters degree in environmental law from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
